An exceptional boxed set of six vintage coffee spoons, each finished with distinctive red Bakelite bean terminals. Presented in the original fitted case with a deep cobalt blue velvet interior and cream satin lid, this set is remarkably well preserved. The spoons appear unused, each immaculate and gleaming, while the interior lining remains fresh with only minimal age patina. The exterior case shows gentle, honest wear consistent with age, with firm hinges and a fully functional brass clasp. Each spoon is hallmarked EPNS within a rectangular lozenge to the underside of the bowl, confirming quality silver plate. The Bakelite coffee beans are flawless and fully intact, adding wonderful period character.
