An Art Deco Bakelite spacer bangle in a rich dark olive green with fine yellow veining. Spacer bangles earned their name by being used to separate or contrast with thicker carved bangles, though they were just as often worn in groups of mixed colours to create a dramatic stacked effect. This example has excellent colour uniformity with subtle veins and mottling, making it especially desirable.
