An exceptional boxed set of six coffee spoons with striking red Bakelite bean terminals, beautifully presented in the original fitted case with gold trim to the lid. The interior features a cobalt blue velvet spoon nest and a cream satin-lined lid, all in excellent condition. Each spoon is immaculate, showing only the faintest age patina and presenting like new. The Bakelite beans are perfect and fully intact. The box interior is superb, and the exterior shows negligible wear with no damage. Hinges are firm and the twin brass clasps function perfectly. Each spoon is hallmarked CHROME PLATED within a rectangular lozenge to the underside of the bowl.
