An Art Deco Zeppelin Airship Cocktail Shaker Set by DRGM Germany

A rare and complete 1920s DRGM Art Deco cocktail set in the form of a streamlined blimp or airship—a striking example of machine age design blended with the playful elegance of the era. This meticulously engineered set includes all original components: the shaker body, strainer, lid, internal mechanisms, four matching cups, and accessories, all housed within the body of the blimp when closed. Made in Germany and marked DRGM (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster), indicating registered design, this set showcases both style and functionality. The body is formed from mixed metals with a contrasting brass and chrome finish. The blimp stands on tail fins when in its upright “landing” position, measuring approximately 9cm high, 24cm long, and 8cm in diameter.
