An outstanding Art Deco necklace composed of beautifully tapered natural malachite beads, complete with its original barrel screw clasp in fine working order. The beads display intricate, organic banding with rich green tones interwoven with contrasting dark veining. As a natural stone, each bead is unique, with no two patterns alike, giving the necklace wonderful depth and character. Malachite is a copper-rich mineral formed deep underground through mineral precipitation, prized for centuries for its vivid colour and distinctive markings.
