An Artis Orbis Candle Holder with Art Nouveau Artwork from Mucha

A beautiful Artis Orbis porcelain candle holder by Goebel, featuring designs after the celebrated Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha. This elegant piece forms part of the Artis Orbis Masters Collection and presents Mucha’s famous Seasons series of 1897, with finely reproduced panels representing the four seasons. Each side of the square column displays one of Mucha’s graceful female figures framed within richly detailed Art Nouveau borders with delicate gilded accents. The panels include Printemps (Spring), Été (Summer), Automne (Autumn) and Hiver (Winter), each capturing the flowing lines, romantic imagery and decorative elegance that made Mucha one of the most important artists of the Art Nouveau movement. The porcelain body rises to a gently flared candle holder at the top, designed to support a pillar candle, while the base is decorated with additional ornamental motifs that complement the seasonal panels.
