An exceptional Moorcroft pottery triangular plaque or sign, richly decorated in high relief with a bold and vibrant fruiting design set against a deep, glossy ground. One side features a beautifully stylised fig, berries and floral elements executed in Moorcroft’s renowned tube-lined technique, with remarkable depth, colour and clarity. The opposing face carries the striking MOORCROFT POTTERY lettering in raised relief, creating a strong visual presence from every angle. The unusual triangular form gives the piece a sculptural, architectural quality, making it ideal for display on a shelf, counter or within a collection. To the base, clearly marked Moorcroft, Made in Stoke on Trent, England, with additional decorator’s marks and dated Trial 1.3.2001, indicating an early or experimental production piece, adding significant interest and collectability.
