An exceptional Art Deco Bronze Figural Lamp signed Lorrain, featuring a stunning patinated tulip-form pâte de verre glass shade in warm tones of amber, blue and white. The elegant bronze female figure, standing on a flowing organic base, supports the glass shade aloft with outstretched arms, embodying the stylised grace of the Art Deco era. The shade is etched with the Lorrain signature and displays superb colour and technique, reminiscent of the Daum Nancy school. In excellent condition with original fittings, recently rewired and ready to use. Approx. 44cm high; shade diameter 12.5cm; base diameter 15cm. A refined and sculptural period light, both decorative and functional.
