An Art Deco French Lady Lamp with Ezan Shade Signed Cleo

An authentic French Art Deco figural lamp signed Cléo, c.1930s, finely cast in gilt-bronzed metal with its original, unpolished patina. The aged surface retains soft highlights and gentle wear, enhancing the sculptural detail of the young lady carrying a basket aloft. The shaped base, decorated with scroll and geometric motifs, is clearly signed Cléo. The lamp is completed with a very rare frosted glass Ezan shade, with bold icicle-like drip decoration, a hallmark design of the celebrated French glassworks. The glass is in excellent condition, with no damage or losses. The lamp has been rewired for Australian conditions and is ready for use.
