Mid Century Boxed Set of two Pair of Cuff Links and Tie Clasp

A Mid Century Boxed Set of two Pair of Cuff Links and Tie Clasp. All finely Diamond Cut and heavy Gold Plated, never used, items Mint condition.  This set is by “Club 707” and “Diamond Cut” as printed in gilt to upper inner silk lining. The inner Silk lining to the box is rust marked from humidity on the steel case over the many decades. The 5 piece set is retained on red velvet to the inner lower surface. The outer box is covered in Faux Lizard Skin, with minor Patina for age. The reference “707” is obviously to the Boeing 707 Passenger Aircraft that was first used in the 1950’s the first daily transatlantic jet service from New York to Paris in1958, and was the height of Luxury Air Travel at that time. The Tie Clip is a Patented Design having “Patent No. 2164082” impressed to rear of clip; this refers to the double hinged of the clamper design which enables the grip to the clip to be always parallel to the clip front and a flat tie and lying flat to shirt.
