Rare Pair of Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Horse Head Cufflinks Denmark

Spectacular Georg Jensen cufflinks featuring finely modelled horse heads, evoking the classical imagery of the Trojan Horse with stylised, clipped manes. This is design no. 63 by Arno Malinowski, one of Georg Jensen’s most celebrated designers, known for his sculptural artistry and naturalistic motifs. Malinowski worked with Jensen between 1936–1944 and again from 1946–1963. These cufflinks bear post-1945 hallmarks: “925 S” denoting Sterling Silver to European standards, “DENMARK” beneath, and the Georg Jensen name within a dotted oval to one side of the bar, with the design number on the reverse. In excellent vintage condition with only minimal signs of age, and a soft, even patina. Dimensions approx.: horse disc 19 mm diameter. Georg Jensen, Denmark.
