A striking vintage pair of Alexander McQueen hoop earrings in rich goldplate, each suspending a silverplate heart-shaped locket as shown. The polished hearts are decorated to the front with a five-pointed gold star set with finely cut black Aurora Borealis rhinestones, creating subtle flashes of colour against the silvered surface. As illustrated, each heart opens on a secure hinge to reveal two compartments designed to hold small photographs. The magnetic closures sit neatly and function perfectly. The hoops are fitted with French sprung eye latches and sterling silver posts for pierced ears, providing both comfort and security.
