Art Nouveau Solid European Silver Filligree Ring set with large 4ct Amethyst Cabochon. Butterfly Filigree to each shoulder and Coin edge to Cabochon within silver scrollwork. Excellent condition with no damage, and the Amethyst has part inclusions and natural flaw line but is a solid stone. Clearly Hallmarked 925, confirming the Silver is equal to Sterling Silver quality; other marks such as SI and what appears as a serial number, possibly of 6-7 digits, but too small to decipher. Dimensions approx.: Finger Size Band width generally 2mm, widening to 1.5cm across the Butterfly wings, Band thickness generally 1mm thick throughout including the Butterfly, but up to 2mm thick at setting.
