This Medieval Dirk by Baltimore Knife & Sword has a blunt-edged blade of medium carbon alloy steel for stage, theatrical or reenactment combat with a finished hardness of 48-50 HRC. The blade is fitted into an antiqued steel hilt with lavish scrollwork etching and a meticulous wire wrap grip of braided brass wire and metallic, emerald green wire. The tang is secured over the pommel with a solid peen over a brass peen block. A unique and beautiful handcrafted piece that truly completes and dignifies an ensemble!
