A distinguished pair of Georg Jensen Sterling Silver cufflinks, design no. 67, created by Sigvard Bernadotte in 1960. Bernadotte, one of Georg Jensen’s most influential mid-century designers, worked with the firm from the 1930s through to the 1980s. These cufflinks are clearly hallmarked with the Georg Jensen dotted oval stamp and 925S, a mark in use from 1945 onward. Design 67 is no longer in production and is now considered a rare and collectible example of Jensen’s mid-century jewellery. The pair present in good condition with gentle surface wear consistent with age, retaining a soft original silver patina developed over more than six decades. Dimensions approximately: each 2cm x 0.4cm (¾″ x 5/16″); total mass 17.8gm. Georg Jensen, Denmark, circa 1960.
