An exceptional Art Deco Bakelite clamper watch in the highly sought-after root beer colour, featuring a domed outer face and flat underside to sit comfortably on the wrist. Fitted with a Geneva 17-jewel Swiss wind-up movement, the watch displays a brushed gold dial with black hour batons and matching hands. The face is marked GENEVA beneath the 12 and 17 JEWELS above the 6, all crisp and original. The hinged clamper mechanism is in perfect working order, with tight, secure pins and a brilliant gold winder untouched by age. Recently serviced and adjusted, it keeps reliable time for a period watch — though these were prized more for style and presentation than precision.
