A Moorcroft Pasque Flower Clock

A finely decorated Moorcroft Pasque Flower clock, designed by Philip Gibson and produced as an open edition in 2002. This elegant CL1 clock showcases Moorcroft’s celebrated tube-lined technique and refined floral artistry. The design is inspired by Pulsatilla, commonly known as the pasque flower, a perennial that blooms around Easter. The clock is richly adorned with deep burgundy blooms, finely outlined and detailed, set against a soft burgundy wash that gently fades into a delicate cream tone at the neck. The flowing stems and bell-shaped flowers are beautifully balanced across the form, creating a harmonious and highly decorative piece. The clock features a clear dial with Roman numerals and a quartz movement, which is in good working order. The battery is accessed by pulling out the clock face. As typical with Moorcroft, there is general surface crazing to the lighter areas, visible on close inspection, which does not detract from the overall presentation. Fully marked to the base Moorcroft – Made in Stoke-on-Trent, England, with date and designer marks present. Dimensions: 15.5 cm high x 9.5 cm wide x 5 cm deep. A refined and collectible Moorcroft clock, combining botanical elegance with excellent craftsmanship, ideal for display on a mantel, shelf, or desk.
