The Clip Point Falchion by Tod Cutler has a blade forged from EN45 high carbon steel which features a thick spine to give it good striking mass, rigidity and durability and the clipped point with a false edge gives the tip a thinned plane ideal both for cutting and thrusting with minimized resistance. The guard and pommel are steel and the wooden grip is tightly bound in leather. A robust peen over the pommel anchors the blade into the hilt and completes the sword for use. The falchion comes with a wood core scabbard that is bound in leather and completed with a knotted sword belt and finely cast copper alloy fittings.
