These RUKO HSS Magnetic Drill Bit or Core drills These are made out of heavy-duty high speed steel and well suited for use on steel (like T-brackets, large sheets), cast iron, non-ferrous and light metals. Standard length these bits are to be used in conjunction with a pilot pin slotted though the middle. The workpiece should be punched with a centre punch, this small indentation is where the pilot pin should be positioned to centre the bit. The Magnetic Drill Bit then cuts a thin strip of material around the pilot pin creating a perfect hole. Proweld advise using a cutting & tapping spray or fluid on the bit. This will speed-up the drilling but will also prolong the life of the Magnetic Drill Bit. Cutting Depth 30mm
