Named after the final Grandmaster of the Knights Templar, Jacques de Molay, this robust Crusader longsword has quite an imposing presence and is robustly crafted to match. This version of the sword has a thickly blunted blade with a rounded tip to make it suitable for reenactment combat, light sport combat and controlled sparring. The tempered blade is crafted from C60 high carbon steel and it is matched with a hilt with guard and pommel made from and resilient steel. The grip is wood with a spiralled wrap of leather to complete the sword. Included with the sword is a wooden scabbard with a wrap in leather and matching steel fittings and steel hanging rings.
