Its blade is made from 65 Mn tempered spring steel and features a diamond cross-section above the midsection providing excellent rigidity for cutting and thrusting alike whilst its fuller groove removes unneeded weight at the thicker base of the blade. The blade tang is securely peened over the stainless steel pommel for durable mounting. The wood-core grip is tightly wrapped in stitched faux leather to ensure a confident, two-handed hold.
