The blade is forged from medium-carbon alloy steel and heat treated to a working hardness of approximately 48–50 HRC, balancing durability with flexibility for safe, reliable performance. Steel fittings form the guard and pommel, and the sword is assembled with a tang fully through the pommel and peened which is reinforced by welding the pommel and guard directly to the tang.
