An Unusual Moorcroft Pineapple Plant Vase Designed by Walter Moorcroft 1986 A/F

A striking Moorcroft ceramic vase of elegant, slender form, gently widening towards the rim. Set against a soft cream ground, the bold Pineapple Plant design features dramatic green jagged leaves rising in rhythmic movement, creating strong vertical presence and unmistakable Moorcroft character. The pattern was drawn by Walter Moorcroft in 1986 and produced in limited numbers, making this an increasingly desirable piece for collectors of later Moorcroft design. The sculptural proportions enhance the impact of the pattern, giving the vase a refined yet confident display quality. There is general crazing visible in the lighter areas of the glaze, consistent with age and typical of Moorcroft production.
