An Art Deco Deep Orange Wide Carved Bakelite Bangle

A highly desirable Art Deco Bakelite bangle in a rich deep orange tone, boldly carved and of wide, substantial proportions. The colour is one of the most sought-after of the period, with a warm, glowing depth that highlights the strong sculptural design. The surface is deeply carved with three adjoining half-ring motifs, complemented by a stylised four-petal flower flanked by elongated leaves across the domed sections. The carving is crisp and well-defined, giving the piece excellent visual presence from every angle. The form is beautifully balanced, with a rounded exterior and a flat inner edge to the wrist, ensuring a comfortable fit. Its generous width allows it to be worn as a striking standalone statement, or combined with narrower spacers and contrasting Bakelite bangles for a layered period look.
